Full-stack engineer – freelance (m/f/d)

We are the tiny team behind Crrowd, a new app where users can find and post product reviews almost instantly. Kind of like Yelp or TripAdvisor, but for physical products, and, according to our own humble assessment, way better.

​​

Our team consists of 2 founders plus a freelancer and we've so far been fully bootstrapped (i.e. self-funded). We have a functional app that we are testing with an active closed beta community of 1000+ users, and seeing the positive response, we thought it's time to scale things up a little. This is where you come into the picture!

About the role

We are looking for someone an experienced developer for Crrowd.

Our back-end is based on Node, while our front-end is built with React Native. Our app is Android-only for now, but will be coming to iOS and the web soon, too. We are looking for a full stack engineer who, at least in the beginning, is flexible to hop around in this stack, can build whatever needs to be built, and enjoys architecting digital products.

Whoever fills this role should feel excited about building something from the (almost) ground up, should take responsibility and should enjoy working both independently and in a team.

• 2+ years of experience building digital products, preferably user-facing apps

• Experience with React Native, Node and AWS

• Good communicator

• Patient & considerate

Where

We're based in Berlin. Since you'd be a core part of our team, we would love to be able to meet face-to-face, at least every now and then. That said, we understand that talented people live all over the world, so remote work is possible.
